Eli Lilly Biochemistry Research Award. Investigated, with William Scovell, PH.D., the interactions of cis-platinum with the high-mobility-group nuclear proteins to delineate their role in DNA replication, also helping to define a mechanism of action of cis-platinum on tumor cells.
